In Catalonia the most famous soap operas are Ventdelplà and La riera, they have got millions of public every week. They both are very exiting. Ventdelplà talks about a family who moves from de city to the a small town called Ventdelplà. They aren't very good there in the firsts days but then they are really good and they help other people. The main characters are Teresa Clarís, Divid Estalrich and Julià Ribes. Its really good. They are in its sixth season and I already love it ! I watch it every Sunday night.

La riera is a new soap opera . It starts on Semptember and its having a lot of public. It talks about a family who live in their restaurant witch is really good. THe family man die and the restaurant is for the oldest sun. It makes people angry and what will happen ?
I don't like La Riera very much, so I don't watch it.

Unit 9 - Healthcare

Most of the time we feel well. But sometimes we just don't feel well. What happens then ?
Some people have medical insurance but most people can't afford it and rely on the National Health Service. This is provided by the government in Britain.

You must need to go to the chemist to buy cought misture or pills for a headache.

If you can't go to the doctor you can phone to National Healthy Service (NHS) where a trained nurse will suggest the best way to treat you.

Hopefully theses treatments won't be necessary. The best way to avoid getting ill is to have a healthy diet., get lots of exercise and take good care of yourself. You shouldn't then need to use the health care system at all!
